Clinical and patient-facing products
Health products carry a duty of care that ordinary software does not. The data is sensitive, the users are often stressed or unwell, and an interface that is merely confusing can do real harm.
What usually goes wrong
The hard parts
- 01Patient data spread across systems with inconsistent access rules
- 02Interfaces designed for the clinician's workflow but used by a patient, or the reverse
- 03Integration with existing clinical systems and record formats
What we get asked for
What we build
- 01Patient-facing portals, booking and intake flows
- 02Clinical and administrative internal tools
- 03Integrations with existing record systems
- 04Accessible interfaces tested with the people who actually use them
Before you build
What has to be right
- Health data is regulated — HIPAA in the US, special-category personal data under GDPR in the EU/UK, and local equivalents elsewhere. We implement the technical controls your compliance advisor or DPO specifies. We do not provide regulatory advice and we do not certify compliance; a vendor who tells you otherwise is overselling.
- Accessibility is not optional in this sector. Assume users with impairments, on old devices, under stress.
