Industries — 08 sectors
Where we work
The engineering rarely changes much between sectors. What changes is what breaks first, what has to be right, and who has to sign it off. These pages are about that.
Startups
Idea to first release
Early-stage teams need a product in front of users before the runway argument starts. We build the smallest version that answers the question you are actually being asked — by users, by a board, or by the next round.
Enterprise
Delivery inside a large organisation
Work inside an established company is rarely blocked by the engineering. It is blocked by integration surface, procurement, and the number of people who have to agree. We plan for that rather than acting surprised by it.
Fintech
Money movement and financial products
Financial products are judged on correctness before features. Balances have to reconcile, transactions have to be traceable, and the failure paths matter more than the happy path — because the failure paths are where money goes missing.
E-commerce
Storefronts and checkout
A storefront is measured on two numbers: how fast it loads and how many carts complete. Most of the engineering that matters sits behind those two, in catalogue performance, honest stock, and a payment path that does not lose orders at the last step.
Healthcare
Clinical and patient-facing products
Health products carry a duty of care that ordinary software does not. The data is sensitive, the users are often stressed or unwell, and an interface that is merely confusing can do real harm.
Education
Learning products and platforms
Education products live or die on completion, not sign-ups. That puts the weight on pacing, progress and the moment a learner would otherwise give up — and on an admin experience that does not punish the person running the course.
SaaS
Multi-tenant software products
The hard parts of SaaS are the ones that are painful to retrofit: tenant isolation, roles, billing and usage limits. Get those right early and the product can grow. Get them wrong and the fix is a rewrite you cannot schedule.
Marketplaces
Two-sided platforms
A marketplace is two products that have to launch together and a trust problem underneath both. The engineering is tractable; the hard calls are about liquidity, matching and what happens when a transaction goes wrong.
